Ridley Scott stadig klar på "Monopoly"

Filmatiseringen af brætspillet er i live.

Da Ridley Scott gik i gang med "Prometheus", var det egentligt forventet, at hans filmatisering af brætspillet Monopoly røg i vasken, men det er ikke tilfældet.

Legetøjsfirmaet Hasbro, der står bag spillet, kan nemlig fortælle, at der stadig er liv i projektet. Brian Goldner udtaler:

"[It's] still happening," fortæller Goldner, "and we're developing a great story. It's a very fun take. Ridley is still the perfect creative steward, because he creates these great, fictionalized worlds...Suffice it to say, it's a story about a family with a history, and we're projecting that into current times. But it's not 'Wall Street'. It's more about property ownership and of the play-pattern of the game."

Det vides dog ikke, om "Monopoly" bliver Scotts første projekt, når "Prometheus" er afsluttet.

Whether or not the film becomes Scott's first post-Prometheus project remains to be seen, but Monopoly is still definitely on the horizon.
