Ifølge Variety, er that Terry Gilliams "The Man Who Killed Don Quixote" havnet i vanskelige problemer.

"The financing collapsed about a month and a half ago," fortæller Gilliam. "I shouldn't be here. The plan was to be shooting 'Quixote' right now."

De finansielle forhindringer betyder dog ikke, at filmen er droppet - tværtimod.

"Robert Duval is Quixote, Ewan McGregor is also there, and we are looking for new financing right now," siger han.
