Brendan Fraser aner ikke, hvem han spiller

Skuespilleren har ikke styr på sine roller.

MTV News har fået sig en snak med Brendan Fraser om sin rolle i "GI Joe: The Rise of Cobra", hvilket har fået skuespilleren til at fremstå mindre heldigt.

"I want to say that I know the answer to that," fortæller han. "Who exactly was I? I did not know until I saw the credit crawl when I saw the movie! I think the character ended up being named 'Sergeant Stone'. I think they might have picked it out of a hat. I know [Stone wasn't a toy] It wasn't there [in the GI Joe mythology]."

Det var ellers meningen, at Fraser skulle spille Gung-Ho, men det kunne ikke lade sig gøre, da Hasbro og Paramount Pictures ikke kunne sikre sig tilladelse til at bruge navnet.

"For legal reasons, I couldn't be Gung-Ho," forklarer Fraser. "I don't know [why]; it didn't clear legal at Paramount. We did ask Paramount, and are currently waiting for their response."
