Downey Jr. holder sig til "Sherlock" og "Iron Man"?

Skuespilleren sigter mod pension.

Robert Downey Jr. afslørede for nylig, at han vil trække sig tilbage som skuespiller efter et par film mere. Nu har han udtalt til Empire, at de film med glæde må blive flere kapitler i historierne om henholdsvis "Iron Man" og "Sherlock Holmes".

"To tell you the truth, I would be happy to bounce back and forth between Sherlock Holmes and Tony Stark until I am forcibly retired," fortæller skuespilleren. "And also, fortunately, not unlike Iron Man, there is a way to continue along the lines of it and not become increasingly embarrassed by my greying hair and ropey muscles."

Downey kunne desuden tilføje, at fremtidige film i franchisen om mesterdetektiven allerede er på tegnebrættet.

"Between Guy [Ritchie] and me, the missus (producer Susan Downey) and Joel Silver (producer), we definitely know what we would like to do for the next two sequels."
