50 Cent køber otte manuskripter fra Sundance

Rapperen gør klar til nye roller.

Rapperen 50 Cent ejer allerede et pladeselskab og et tøjmærke, og nu kan han også tilføje et produktionsselskab til hans imperium.

Imens han lavede reklame for sin seneste film ved Sundance Film Festival, annoncerede 50 Cent nemlig, at han starter sit nye firma, Cheetah Vision, på trods af finanskrisen.

"I don't think it will affect me as much as it will the other people that are out there because I'm not afraid to finance some of these things myself if I have to", lyder det fra rapperen.

50 Cents Cheetah Vision har allerede købt otte manuskripter og planlægger desuden at producere "The Dance", der har rapperen og Nicolas Cage på rollelisten.

"(The script) was previously passed around a little bit but both me and Nicolas Cage had an interest in the film so it will still happen," siger 50 Cent. "He plays the founder of a boxing program, and I play a fighter who goes to state prison."
