Detaljer om filmatisering af "Gears of War"

Videospillet er godt på vej til biograferne.

Producer Wyck Godfrey (Twilight) og instruktøren Len Wiseman (Underworld) har afsløret lidt nyt om filmatisering af det populære videospil "Gears of War".

I spillet bliver man kastet ind i menneskehedens kamp mod Locust Horde, monstre der vil se menneskeligt blod. Historien følger en gruppe soldater og deres kamp for overlevelse, imens kræfterne så småt slipper op.

"The hard part is to make it into something that doesn't feel a world torn asunder and people in battle," siger Godfrey. "I think we really want to focus on the idea of the world that's running well and then it's Emergency Day, make it impactful and immediate. [What its like during those 48 hours for people who have survived Emergence Day.] It's more like 'Cloverfield'."

Han tilføjer: "Trying to tell the epic story of an alien planet that's living in a horrific environment just feels like the wrong mood right now."
